Message From the Engine building page:

"We are offering rebuilt short and long blocks. These will come with a 1 year warranty against "DEFECTS" or for $300 for the short block and $500 for the long block a 3 year warranty. Every spec for even the basic rebuilt shortblocks will be the same as we use in our race engines. With SGP oil control specs, Clearances, and ring gaps, you can feel secure that you will have the best rebuilt Z block in the country. We are also one of the very few companies that use a torque plate to bore and hone the cylinders for a truer assembled bore"

Pretty straight forward

From the Info page:

"Should a motor become damaged during use, we shall inspect it, and determine if the cause of said damage is due to an improperly working component, or due to the misuse of said motor. If it is determined to be a faulty component, we will repair or replace the motor solely at our discretion. If it is determined that misuse damaged the motor, the buyer will be responsible for expenses for inspections for an undetermined amount of money, up to, but not exceeding One Thousand Dollars (USD$1,000) PLUS the cost of replacement components. Nitrous Oxide use, high boost, Modified components, and Improperly configured tuning systems, are a few examples of what is considered misuse. Factory & Race Spec engines are very well engineered, but are not prone to accumulating damage even when properly configured."

Pretty easy to understand....we inspect the motor(you can be present during the inspection or pictures will be provided) and it is found that we made a mistake...you will get the motor rebuilt or replaced....Pretty good warranty I think..maybe I am wrong

I can easily say that in in 8 years of doing business SGP has only had to replace two motors under warranty due to mistakes made by our machine shop. On another note...the two motors were done by a machine shop a long time ago that is now out of business.
